The B&C field kit is designed to help keep your axe in peak condition. This axe field kit includes:

• The 8" Mill Bastard File, your trusted ally for precise and efficient sharpening that restores your axe's cutting edge to perfection.
• Our dual grit honing puck (ANSI 240/400), made to be used after each use. A little sharpening after each use keeps your axe safe and ensures ease of use.
• We've also included our specially formulated bit wax, made with plant-based camellia oil, to help protect the bit from corrosion.
• To make sure your axe doesn’t “fly off the handle,” we include handle wax made by us in the shop with beeswax and raw linseed oil. Rub a little on the handle after each use to help keep your handle in tip top shape.
• The outer shell of the tool roll is constructed from 1000 denier-coated Cordura, offering exceptional durability and resilience against the elements.
• Inside, you'll find an inner lining made of waxed cotton duck cloth, adding an extra layer of protection and helping preserve the pristine state of your tools.
